Password Security Checkup
The end of the year is a good time to review your organization’s security policy for logging in to ENTERPRISE. From the ENTERPRISE application, to websites you visit, to your video security system at home, security is vital. Following are some recommendations for creating strong passwords that would apply to all of your computer usage.
- Make your Password long
- Make your Password a nonsense phrase, not a common word found in the dictionary
- Include Numbers, Symbols, and/or both Upper- and Lower-case letters
- Avoid using obvious personal information, like your pet’s name or college mascot
- Do not reuse Passwords, never use them for multiple websites or applications
- Create Passwords that are hard to guess but easy to remember
